Do you perform edging? And what services are included in the package?
Yes, we do edging. Our standard service includes mowing, trimming, edging, and removing clippings from hard surfaces. We suggest weekly service, but we also have bi-weekly packages available. Additionally, we can provide certain landscaping services as well.
How do I pay for the service?
Following the initial service, we will send an invoice to your email that can be paid using a credit card. Once we have your card on file, subsequent services will be charged automatically for your convenience. You have the option to pay monthly, or pay for the entire season. Choosing to pay for the season will result in a discount. Contact us for more information.
Should I get my lawn mowed weekly or bi-weekly? What’s the difference?
For optimal aesthetics, we suggest a weekly service schedule as it allows us to remove less grass during each visit, resulting in a better-looking lawn overall. We also offer bi-weekly service, which is more budget-friendly. With bi-weekly service during the high-growth season (July-August), the lawn may not look as well-groomed as the grass will grow rapidly, and we must adhere to cutting no more than a third of the grass for the health of the lawn. My yard is overgrown. Can you handle that?
If your yard is overgrown, please let us know and we will evaluate the options. If our equipment is capable of handling it, we will be happy to restore it to shape. However, please note that the first service may incur a surcharge, due to the increased time spent, and wear on the equipment. In the event that our equipment is not suitable for the job, we'll inform you promptly so that you can find a more appropriate provider.
How much does your service cost?
The cost will vary depending on the size of the yard and the frequency of service. We highly recommend that you request a quote so we can assess your specific requirements.
Can you come today? How quickly can I get service?
Generally, we can schedule new clients within 7 days. If you need service sooner, please contact us and we will check if we have the availability to accommodate your request. However, please note that there may be an additional charge for rush service.
What areas of the city do you service?
We provide service to most locations in and around the Huntsville area, including Huntsville itself, Madison, Hampton Cove, Meridianville, Brownsboro, Owens Cross Roads, New Market, Athens, Decatur, Tanner and Harvest.
Do you take care of flower beds? And do you offer other landscaping services?
We can cover certain landscaping needs including flower bed maintenance, hedge trimming and small-tree pruning.
Do you service commercial properties?
Yes, we can provide service for commercial properties. If you're interested, please reach out to us so we can discuss further.
Do you sell robots?
At the moment, our focus is on providing lawn service to customers rather than selling hardware and software. However, we are always interested in speaking with lawn care operators who wish to integrate automation into their business. If that applies to you, please feel free to contact us.
Do you do one-time mows?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our operations, we can only serve customers who are in need of regular service.
At what height do you cut the grass?
Our team is trained to adjust the cutting height according to the type of grass. When you opt for weekly yard service, we have more flexibility in terms of cutting height. We follow the rule of not removing more than one-third of the grass during any given service.
What is not included in the service?
We do not offer fertilization, weed control, hardscaping, irrigation, tree work, leaf cleanups, and sodding services.
My property has many acres. Can you handle it?
We have experience mowing properties that are multiple acres in size. If your property is larger, we would appreciate hearing from you as we are always looking for bigger properties to mow.
Do you haul the clippings?
We recycle the clippings by mulching them. If you are worried about the accumulation of thatch, we suggest opting for weekly service as it reduces the amount of clippings produced per service.
Can you do leaf cleanups?
Currently, we do not offer leaf cleanup services.
Are you able to mow Zoysia grass? How about Tall Fescue? What other types of grass are you able to handle?
Our customers have various types of grass, such as Bermuda, Zoysia, Tall fescue, etc. Our team is trained to use the appropriate cutting height for each type of grass.
Do I need to clean the dog poop before you come?
Having some dog poop in your yard is not a major issue. However, if there is an excessive amount present, we may need to reschedule the service to ensure the well-being of our crew and robots.
Do I need to be home for the service?
No, it is not necessary for you to be present for us to service your yard. However, we request that any gates are unlocked to allow us to service the entire yard.
How can you assure me the mowers are safe?
Our mowers are equipped with overlapping sensors (Lidar and Cameras) to ensure that mowing is only done when it is safe. Members of our engineering team use their prior experience in the autonomous vehicle sector to guarantee the safety of our mowers.
